This Privacy Policy sets forth the terms and conditions for the processing and protection of personal data provided by users in connection with their use of the services offered by the Schoeps Residence website (hereinafter referred to as the Platform). In order to ensure the security of the entrusted personal data, the Controller acts on the basis of internal procedures and recommendations, in accordance with applicable legal acts concerning personal data protection, in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 EC. The Controller shall take particular care to protect the interests of data subjects, and in particular shall ensure that personal data are: processed lawfully; collected for specified and legitimate purposes and not processed for any other purposes; correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed; stored in a form which enables identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing. Personal data are processed on the basis of consent given by users of the Platform and in cases where provisions of the applicable law authorize the Controller to process personal data. The Controller processes personal data voluntarily submitted by users of the Platform solely for the purpose of: responding to enquiries from users sent using the contact form, accepting reservations using the online booking system, performing services provided by the Controller on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR, marketing, including sending commercial information to the e-mail address if the Client has given their consent by ticking the appropriate box in the reservation process or while submitting an enquiry via the contact form. The consent for processing data for marketing purposes and sending commercial information may be withdrawn by clicking the appropriate link in the message received or by sending a notification to the e-mail address of the Controller, for the purpose of pursuing the Controller's legitimate interest in specific cases pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR e.g. debt collection, or video monitoring of the Facility. The recipients of personal data may be authorities, institutions and entities authorised by law, as well as entities providing services to the Controller (e.g. legal, IT, marketing, accounting services) and other entities participating in the provision of the ordered service. The Controller may use automated decision-making, including profiling, for marketing purposes and offer customisation. The user of the Platform who provided their data has the right to access the data processed by the Controller. The user also has the right to modify such data, to request deletion and to restrict or cease the processing their personal data at any time. The user may also request the deletion of their personal data from the Platform at any time. The right to data portability does not apply as no standard for the exchange of such data between hotels has been established. The user of the Platform has the right to withdraw their consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of their consent prior to such withdrawal. In order to exercise their rights referred to in section 8 above, the Platform user should contact the Controller using the same e-mail address or telephone number provided on the Platform, by sending an email to: kontakt@schoepsresidence.pl. Each Platform user may file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection. The Controller collects information about the users and their behaviour in the following ways: by voluntarily entering information in the forms, by collecting cookies. When browsing the Schoeps Residence website, the user is informed about the use of cookies. By remaining on the website, the user accepts the use of cookies on the website. If the user does not change their browser settings, this shall be deemed tantamount to consenting to the use of cookies. Cookie files are necessary for the proper provision of services on the Platform.
